Abstract:
The present invention discloses a braking device with conical frictional surfaces for an electric winch, mainly having a sectional axle, a motor axle, an engraved chunk base, braking plate, an elastic member, an engraved chunk B, an engraved chunk A and a clutch base in a retardation compartment of the electric winch. When the motor is operating, the motor axle is rotated to make the clutch base and the engraved chunks A, B rotate simultaneously, thereby clearances being formed between the braking plate and the engraved chunks A, B, so that the braking action is stopped. While the operation of motor is suddenly stopped, the pulling force produced by heavy substance through the cable wire reel makes the engraved chunk B to produce a pushing force such that the braking plate contacts with the engraved chunk A and the engraved chunk base tightly, and hence the braking action is rapidly attained. Since the braking plate has two conical frictional surfaces, the braking area is increased, the braking force is enhanced and the braking becomes safe and reliable. In addition, since wear-out of the braking device is focused in the braking plate, the braking plate made from frictional materials is only a damageable and need-replaceable member in the braking device. Therefore, Maintenance of the braking device is easy, cost of its members is low, life of the retardation compartment is not under the influence of wear-out.
