Title:
BRAKING SYSTEM COMPRISING A RELEASE MECHANISM FOR SAFE DISENGAGEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/202833
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to a clamping device for a braking system, which clamping device is intended to cause friction elements to be displaced relative to one another and comprises an actuator supplying a clamping force to a clamping abutment (11) to allow the friction elements to be displaced relative to one another in a rectilinear, axial direction (A). The device comprises a mechanism (19) for releasing the abutment via a shortened stroke, allowing the device to disengage if a clamping force is accidentally maintained. The mechanism comprises: - a disengagement washer (20) comprising recesses (21) and projections (22), - a carrier (25) supporting rollers (26). The carrier is configured to pivot about the axial direction between a position in which each roller bears against a top (23) of one of the projections and a position in which each roller is housed in one of the recesses.
