Abstract:
This breaker 1 comprises: a fixed contact 21; a movable piece 4 having a movable contact 41; a thermal stress moving element 5 that deforms in association with a change in temperature; a case body 7 in which is formed an accommodating recess 73 for accommodating the fixed contact 21 and the thermal stress moving element 5; and a lid member 8 integrated with the movable piece 4, the lid member 8 being fixed to the case body 7 and covering the accommodating recess 73. The movable piece 4 has a terminal 42 that protrudes to the outer side of the lid member 8 and is connected to an external circuit, and a securing part 43 that is buried in and secured to the lid member 8 between an elastic part 44 and the terminal 42. The lid member 8 has a projection 81 that protrudes toward the case body 7 in order to bury the securing part 43. The case body 7 has a welded part 74 that is welded to the projection 81, and a protruding part 75 that protrudes toward the lid member 8 between the accommodating recess 73 and the welded part 74.
