Abstract:
A breathing assistance apparatus comprising a mask mounted to the nose of a user, a tube connected to the mask so that one end thereof can be inserted in the nasal cavity of the user, a cuff which is provided at one end of the mask and which is expanded by injection of air therein, and a processing device that is connected to the other end of the tube and that includes a pressure mechanism for creating negative pressure or positive pressure in the tube and a pressure control unit for controlling the pressure mechanism.
