Abstract:
The objective is to manufacture briquettes with increased strength, even when using minimal quantities of binder and water. To achieve this, a briquette manufacturing method includes a process in which primary particulates are formed using a metal oxide powder that contains iron oxide and at least one of zinc oxide, lead oxide, and titanium oxide, and a process in which secondary particulates are formed by compressing multiple primary particulates in a state in which one or more of the aforementioned zinc oxide, lead oxide, and titanium oxide is included.
