Abstract:
Provided are a Brucella suis strain CGMCC NO.18741 with the BI-1 gene deleted, and a construction method therefor and a use thereof. The strain is obtained by means of replacing the BI-1 gene of Brucella suis with a kanamycin resistance gene. The strain with the gene deleted shows the characteristics of a slower growth rate, a reduced colony, an increased cell membrane permeability, an enhanced cell aggregation, etc., suggesting that the strain has potential as a live attenuated Brucella vaccine.
