Abstract:
Provided is a brushless motor capable of achieving a reduction in the size of a first ball bearing to suppress a degradation in durability, and achieving a reduction in product costs. A motor housing 30 has: a cylindrical section 35; a disk section 36 integrally provided inside the cylindrical section; and a first support section 37 protruding toward a rotor from a hole edge of a through-hole 36a at the center of the disk section. A bearing support member 40 press-fitted and fixed to the outer peripheral surface of a motor shaft 32 has, in an outer peripheral section of a disk-like base section 41, a second support section 42 which is on the radial outside of the first support section and protrudes toward the cylindrical section. In a first ball bearing 43, an inner ring 43a is supported by an outer peripheral surface of the first support section, and an outer ring 43b is supported by an inner peripheral surface of the second support section. An oil seal 38 on which the outer peripheral surface of the motor shaft slides is provided on the inner circumference of the first support section.
