Abstract:
According to the present invention, a buckle comprises a buckle body that has formed therein an insertion port into which is inserted a plate of a tongue that is attached to a seatbelt of a vehicle, an outer cover that houses the buckle body, a lever that is rotated by the load received from the plate inserted into the insertion port, an elastic body that is deformed by the rotation of the lever, a sensor that outputs a signal that corresponds to the deformation of the elastic body, and a processing unit that processes the signal outputted from the sensor.
