Abstract:
A building drum comprises a drum shaft (3, 10), two side drums (21) symmetrically disposed on the drum shaft (3, 10) and a center drum (11, 22) disposed between the two side drums (21). The center drum (11, 22) comprises two half drums (110, 220) capable of engaging with each other in an axial direction, and each half drum (110, 220) has an axially variable diameter. Each side drum (21) is connected to one of the two half drums (110, 220) proximate thereto and can move relative to the half drum (110, 220). Also disclosed are a tire building machine and a tire building method using the same.
