Abstract:
A building ventilating member that, solving the prior art problems, is capable of satisfactory ventilation of rooms and reliably preventing foreign matter including rain, snow, dust or insects from entering rooms from outside. A building hollow waterproof air−permeable plate adapted to be attached to a portion of a building for ventilation from within to outside of the building is characterized in that the hollow waterproof air−permeable plate comprises a hollow base body oblong and rectangular in section, and a three−dimensional fine fiber filter deformable to conform to the sectional shape of the hollow base body, the three−dimensional fine fiber filter being filled in at least a portion of the hollow base body in such a manner as to shield the space between one and the other end of the hollow base body.
