The present invention relates to a building having openable side walls, and more specifically, to a building having openable side walls, wherein outer wall panels, rotatably supported by the supporting members of the building, separate from the supporting members and move by a driving force of driving devices. The present invention, in which side walls, comprising outer wall panels, can be opened, comprises: supporting members constituting a load-bearing structure; a plurality of outer wall panels, spaced from the frame and adjacent to each other, to form outer walls; guide arms having one end rotatably connected to a first hinge shaft on one side of each of the outer wall panels, and the other end rotatably connected to a second hinge shaft on one side of the supporting members; and driving devices, connected to the second hinge shaft, for rotating the guide arms. In the present invention, the building can be more easily used as the openable side walls of the building enable light to enter and allow ventilation in the building. Additionally, the amount of light and ventilation in the building can be adjusted by only partially opening the side wall, thereby enabling provision of a custom building on the basis of weather conditions or the convenience of the user.
