Provided in the present invention are a built-in household appliance and an installation structure therefor. The built-in household appliance comprises: a housing, which is provided with an opening on one side; a household appliance body, which is arranged in the housing in a manner of being capable of moving inward or outward via the opening; and a drive assembly, which is arranged between the household appliance body and the housing, and used for driving the household appliance body to move in or out of the housing via the opening. The drive assembly comprises: a drive rod, which is mounted on the housing or the household appliance body and has an extension length in the direction of the household appliance body moving inward and outward; and a transmission component, which is mounted on the household appliance body or the housing, and is slidably connected to the drive rod so as to drive the household appliance body to move in the direction of moving inward and outward. In the built-in household appliance provided in the present invention, the transmission component can be used to drive the household appliance body to move in or out of the housing, thereby saving time and effort and also improving the user experience.
