Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a bulk acoustic wave resonator and a filter. The bulk acoustic wave resonator comprises: a piezoelectric layer; and an interdigital transducer (IDT), which is provided on the piezoelectric layer, wherein each second interdigital electrode among a plurality of second interdigital electrodes are mutually coupled in one-to-one correspondence to each first interdigital electrode among a plurality of first interdigital electrodes to form a plurality of interdigital electrode coupling pairs. The bulk acoustic wave resonator further comprises a plurality of periodically arranged acoustic wave suppression structures, and each acoustic wave suppression structure among the plurality of acoustic wave suppression structures is disposed between adjacent interdigital electrode coupling pairs. Therefore, in-band spurious modes may be suppressed in a wide frequency range, reducing loss.
