Provided are a bullet screen data display method and apparatus, and a computer-readable storage medium, which belong to the field of Internet mobile terminal video live broadcasting. The bullet screen data display method is applied to a client, and the client comprises a front end and a background. The method comprises: a background acquiring a connection signal of a target live broadcasting room and creating a first connection channel for connecting to a front end; the background registering a port object, which calls a program, to the first connection channel and sending, to the front end and by means of the first connection channel, bullet screen data sent by a server; and the front end displaying the bullet screen data according to the program, of the background, called by the port object. A front end of a client displays a bullet screen by calling a program of a background of the client, such that the operability when displaying the bullet screen and the working efficiency when displaying the bullet screen are greatly improved.
