Detail description

In the present invention, the term “and/or” is aimed at including all the possible combinations and sub-combinations of the listed elements, which includes any one of the separately listed elements, any sub-combinations or all elements, without excluding other elements.

In the present invention, except as otherwise noted, the terms “first”, “second” and the like are used to describe various elements, without intending to define the positional relationship, sequential relationship or significance relationship of these elements, such terms are only used to distinguish one element from another one.

In the present invention, except as otherwise noted, the orientation or positional relationship represented by the terms “front”, “rear”, “up”, “down”, “left”, “right” and the like are usually based on the orientation or positional relationship shown in the appended drawings, which is only used to facilitate the description and simplify the description, but cannot be understood as a limitation of the protected scope of the present invention.

In the present invention, a bumper of a vehicle refers to front bumper of the vehicle or rear bumper of the vehicle. A grill includes the grill of the traditional oil-fueled automobile and air intake grill and enclosed grill of the electric automobile.

The bumper assembly of the vehicle usually includes an ornament, a medium part and a bumper skin. Wherein, in the front bumper assembly, the medium part may be grill, or the grill with other parts, such as grill frame or lamp sets. After being assembled, since there are more superimposed parts, the bumper skin has a larger impending space along the length of the vehicle body, or because of the factors as the weight thereof or other parts loaded thereon, it will cause the bumper skin sinking (with relative displacement), and form a larger gap between the ornament, and sometimes, the height of such gap will be greater than 0.5 millimeters, even up to 2-3 millimeters. Such gap seriously affects the vehicle structural integrality and the aesthetic. Therefore, it needs to reset the structures of each part and the connections between the parts in the bumper assembly.

Figure 1 and figure 2 show the schematic view of the bumper assembly of the exemplary embodiment of the present invention. Figure 3 shows the exploded view of figure 1. After the ornament 100 is assembled with the grill 200 and the grill frame 201 in turn, and then it is installed to the front bumper skin 300. In the alternative embodiment, the grill frame 201 is configured to be integrated with the grill 200. That is, the medium part is configured as an integrated structure or a grill after being integrated assembled. As shown in figure 3, the ornament 100 includes an ornament body 102 and six buckles 104 arranged at intervals along the lengthwise direction of the ornament body 102, and the buckles 104 are symmetrically arranged that is centered on the vehicle logo (not shown) which is in the middle of the ornament 100. The six buckles 104 are corresponding to six hooks 204 (shown in figure 4) on the grill 200 respectively, in order to engaged pair to pair. As shown in figure 4, figure 4 shows the sectional view along A-A direction of figure 1. The ornament 100 and the front bumper skin 300 form gap 400 at the head of the vehicle. The ornament 100 is engaged with the grill 200 with the buckles 104, which it limits the displacement along the horizontal direction relative to the grill 200 at least. It should be understood that, in some embodiments, according to the changes of the size and the structure of the ornament and the grill, the buckles and the hooks with other corresponding quantity and shape can be set.

Figure 5 shows the schematic view of the ornament and the front bumper skin of the exemplary embodiment of the present invention. Figure 6 shows the partial structure view of the ornament and the front bumper skin of the exemplary embodiment of the present invention. The front bumper skin 300 in figure 5 is provided with engaging surface 308, and such engaging surface 308 is arranged along the lengthwise direction (approximately along the width of the car) of the front bumper skin body 302, on which four grooves 306 arranged at intervals regard as receiving part. In figure 6, the ornament 100 not only shows the buckles 104, but also shows first gaggers 106 and second gaggers 108. Wherein, the first gaggers 106 are regarded as first components, and the second gaggers 108 are regarded as second components. Furthermore, the quantity of the first gaggers 106 shown in figure 6 is two (the other two first gaggers of the ornament are not shown in figure 6), the quantity of the second gaggers 108 is four (the other four second gaggers of ornament are not shown in figure 6). Wherein, two fist gaggers 106 in figure 6 are matched with the corresponding two grooves 306 in figure 5. Combining with figure 8, the first gaggers 106 and the second gaggers 108 are located in the same row (such row does not have to be a horizontal straight line), while the buckles 104 are located in the other row. Moreover, the first gaggers 106 and the second gaggers 108 are arranged in staggered and intersected way, which do not be intervened with each other. In figure 6, the first gaggers 106 and the second gaggers 108 are both configured as an approximately tabular structure. Wherein, the length-width ratio of the first gaggers 106 is greater than that of the second gaggers 108, in other words, the first gaggers 106 are more slender. In consideration of the quantity of the first gagger 106 is less than the quantity of the second gagger 108, by such arrangement, when the ornament is installed to the front bumper skin, the first gaggers 106 may be not only aligned and inserted into the grooves 306 easily and effortlessly, but also the slender first gaggers 106 may limit the rotary movement of the ornament relative to the front bumper skin better. Alternatively, the quantity of the first gaggers 106 is half that of the second gaggers 108.

In the embodiment shown in figure 7, the grooves 306 are provided with openings 307, in order to be suitable for inserting the first gaggers 106, and the openings 307 are arranged along the horizontal direction. By such arrangement, it is convenient for the processing of the grooves 306 and the first gaggers 106, and also convenient for the ornament 100 being inserted into the grooves 306 by the first gaggers 106 and then installed into the front bumper skin 300. Furthermore, the empennage of the first gaggers 106 in figure 7 is also provided with steps 107, and the size of such steps 107 is greater than that of the opening 307 of the grooves 306, in order to function as shutoff and block, thereby the depth of the first gaggers 106 being inserted into grooves 306 can be limited. By such arrangement, during the installation, the ornament 100 and the front bumper skin 300 at the front-end of the head of the vehicle can be aligned with each other at least.

In the alternative embodiment, the first component and the receiving part are configured as other structure, for example the first component and the receiving part are configured as buckle structure.

By such arrangement, the ornament 100 is connected to the front bumper skin 300 by the first gagger 106, which can prevent the front bumper skin from sinking, thereby the gap 400 between the ornament and the front bumper skin can be controlled effectively, and further improve the structural integrality and the aesthetic. Figure 9 shows the sectional view along C-C direction of figure 1. In the embodiment shown in figure 9, the second gagger 108 and the ornament body 102 are configured with an angle, in order to adopt the grill 200. From another perspective, the grill 200 is stretched into the receiving cavity formed by the second gagger 108 and the ornament body 102 which are set with an angle. By such arrangement, the rotary movement of the ornament relative to the grill can be limited at least.

Combining with figure 7 to figure 9, when the ornament 100, the grill 200 and the grill frame 201 are installed to the front bumper skin 300, since the first gagger 106 and the second gagger 108 are located in the same row, which cause that the first gagger 106 and the second gagger 108 are both right placed on the engaging surface 308 of the front bumper skin after being installed, thereby the structural layout of the bumper assembly is reasonable and concise. This is important for the layout of the bumper-related structure of the vehicle.

Figure 10 shows the sectional view along D-D direction of figure 1. Figure 11 shows the sectional view along E-E direction of figure 8. Combining with figure 10 and figure 11, the both ends of the grill 200 are provided with first hole 210, and meanwhile the front bumper skin 300 is provided with second hole 310 at the corresponding position. The screw 500 is screwed into the second hole 310 and the first hole 210 in turn, thereby the front bumper skin 300 is tightened to the grill 200. In the embodiment shown in the figure, since the part of the ornament 100 located at the screw 500 is easy to be deformed, thereby, being tightened by the screw, the gap between the ornament and the front bumper skin can be controlled more effectively. It should be understood that, in the alternative embodiment, when the length of the ornament is shorter or is not deformed easily, the screw can be replaced by the first component. The purpose thereof is to control the gap between the ornament and the front bumper skin effectively.

Moreover, it should be understood that, in the embodiment shown in the figure, the grill 200 and the front bumper skin 300 are provided with two first holes 210 and two second holes 310 respectively, and the first hole 210 and the second hole 310 are both provided with internal thread used for the screw to be screwed therein.

In the embodiments shown in figure 10 and figure 11, the fastener is configured as the screws 500. In the alternative embodiment, the fastener is configured as rivet and the like. In the different embodiment, the purpose of configuring the fastener includes for reducing the gap between the ornament and the front bumper skin, but not just for connecting with the grill and the front bumper skin.

By the configuration of the screw, while the gap of the ornament and the front bumper skin is controlled effectively, the cost thereof is also controlled effectively.

When install the bumper assembly, firstly assemble the ornament and the medium part, meanwhile engage the buckle and the hook, thereby fix the ornament and the medium part; and then the ornament and the medium part are installed to the bumper skin together, meanwhile the receiving part of the bumper skin receives the first component of the ornament. Alternatively, also include: the fastener is fastened from the bumper skin to the medium part, in order to complete the installation.

In the embodiment shown in the figures, firstly assemble the ornament 100 and the grill 200, meanwhile engage the buckle 104 and the hook 204, thereby fix the ornament 100 and the grill 200, and the second gagger 108 is inserted into the bottom of the grill 200 to limit the rotary movement of the ornament 100 relative to the grill 200; and then the ornament 100 and the grill 200 are assembled with the grill frame 201 together; and then the ornament 100, the grill 200 and the grill frame 201 in the previous step are installed to the front bumper skin 300, meanwhile the first gagger 106 is inserted into the groove 306; in the end, the screw 500 is screwed into the first hole 210 and the second hole 310 to complete the installation.

By the direct and/or indirect connection of the ornament and the front bumper skin of the embodiment shown in the figures, include: the connection of the ornament and the grill, the connection of the ornament and the front bumper skin, the connection of the grill and the front bumper skin, and finally, the gap between the ornament and the front bumper skin is effectively controlled, and then improve the structural integrality and the aesthetic. Meanwhile, it eliminates its own risk which may be caused by the deformation of the ornament and the like, moreover, the structural layout of the front bumper assembly is reasonable and concise, and the cost is lower.
