Disclosed in the present invention are a buoy device and a method for controlling a buoy to fall in a timely manner, and a water intake valve and a drainage valve. The buoy device comprises a buoy seat, a one-way switch and a buoy located in the buoy seat, wherein the lower end of the buoy seat is provided with a water outlet, the one-way switch is movably mounted at the water outlet, and the water outlet is closed by the one-way switch when the one-way switch floats in place; the one-way switch is provided with a water storage cavity, a water intake structure which communicates the water storage cavity with an inner cavity of the buoy seat, and a drainage structure capable of draining water from the water storage cavity; and after water enters the buoy seat, some of the water in the buoy seat enters the water storage cavity from the water intake structure until the water outlet of the buoy seat is opened by the one-way switch. According to the present invention, the buoy falls in a timely manner as the water level of a water tank drops, and it is ensured that a component linked with the buoy can act in a timely manner, such that it is ensured that the drainage valve applying the buoy device can stop water in a timely manner, and the aim of saving water is achieved.
