Abstract:

A burner ignited by plasma includes at least two stage of burning cylinders (104, 106) and a plasma generator (302) for igniting the pulverized coal in the first burning cylinder (104) of the at least two stage of burning cylinders (104, 106). The burning flame of the previous burning cylinder (104) ignites the pulverized coal in the subsequent burning cylinder (106), or further combusts with auxiliary air in the subsequent burning cylinder (106). The burner is characterized in that the axial direction of the plasma generator (302) is parallel with the direction of the air containing pulverized coal entering the first burning cylinder (104),and simultaneously parallel with the axis of the burning cylinders (104, 106).
