Abstract:

Joining of two pipes having substantially the same diameter by force fitting into a reciprocating sleeve. This joining comprises the force fitting of two pipes (1-9) on either side of a sleeve (2) which has a hammered central portion having a diameter smaller than the outer diameters of the pipes (1-9). This joining is effected by a reciprocating motion of the sleeve (2) on the two pipes (1-9). The end of the two pipes is previously bevelled as shown at (10).
