Abstract:
A holder for a butterfly needle to be used in transfusion, blood infusion, blood
collection, etc. which has a constitution wherein a holder part (3) for a butterfly
needle (6) is horizontally provided in the attachment part (2) for attaching
the holder to a supporting pole (71) of an instillation board (7) and the holder
part (3) comprises a pair of elastic clips (31, 31) holding both sides of one blade
(65), in the state where the blades (65, 65) of the butterfly needle (6) are lifted,
and a supporter (4) for supporting the outer periphery (67) of the blade (65) of
the butterfly needle (6) provided therebelow. Owing to the constitution as described
above, the butterfly needle (6) can be readily and easily taken off and held with
one hand while removing a cap (66) from a tubular needle (61) provided at the point
end of the butterfly needle (6). Thus, a treatment for cleansing a patient’s
body or stopping bleeding can be performed without anxiety. Moreover, a medical
treatment can be carried out without a risk of the contamination of a doctor, a
nurse and a patient with the tubular needle (61) from which the cap (66) has been
removed.
