Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a cabinet with a clean environment maintaining function, in which a variation in air speed is less in a working space. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] The safety cabinet (1) has a filter (26) and two sheets of flow straightening members (51, 52) disposed on the downstream side of the filter. The flow straightening members (51, 52) are made of perforated metal and disposed such that openings (55) and openings (56) are not superposed over each other. The flow straightening members (51, 52) are formed by bending one sheet of perforated metal, and bends (60) are formed on the flow straightening members. Openings (61) are also formed in the bends (60). The air having passed through the filter (26) is straightened by the flow straightening member (51) and temporarily held in a space (50). Then, the air is re-straightened by the flow straightening member (52), and the air with uniform flow speed is supplied into the working space (7).
