Abstract:
Provided is a cable-accommodating container with which it is possible to heighten the effect of removal of electricity, and with which it seldom occurs that a discharge member is caught or damaged when digging up the ground. A cable-accommodating container 1 comprises: a container body 2 in which a first internal space S that accommodates a cable 7 is formed, said container body 2 being open at the upper end; and a lid 3 disposed in a position where an opening 24 of the container body 2 is shut. A first electroconductive member 4 is provided on at least the upper surface of the lid 3, the first electroconductive member 4 being electrically connected to one end 51 of a second electroconductive member 5, the second electroconductive member 5 having higher electroconductivity than the first electroconductive member 4, and the other end 52 of the second electroconductive member 5 being exposed to the outside of the container body 2 and positioned underground.
