Abstract:
In a cage door device of an elevator, a blocking-plate support section is provided at the front side of a cage door, the blocking-plate support section supporting a blocking plate so that the blocking plate can slide along the open/close direction of the cage door. A door case cover is provided with a blocking-plate engaging section that engages the blocking plate during a door closing operation and restricts displacement of the blocking plate in the door closing direction relative to the cover front side section.
