Abstract:
A cage of an elevator, wherein wall panels are reinforced by recessed parts or projected parts formed at the center parts thereof by a press in place of a conventional cage in which the wall panels are reinforced, and also aesthetic appearance is given to the wall panels by making conspicuous the pressed portions. The plurality of wall panels are combined with each other and bent parts formed at the edge parts of the wall panels are connected to each other. The intermediate part of each of the wall panels comprise the pressed recessed parts or the pressed projected parts. For example, paint is applied to the surfaces of the pressed recessed parts or the projected parts of the wall panels.
