Abstract:
This calculation device is provided with a plurality of input line pairs, and one or more product-sum calculation devices. Signal pairs are input to the plurality of input line pairs within an input period. The product-sum calculation device includes a plurality of multiplication units, an accumulation unit, a charging unit, and an output unit. The plurality of multiplication units generate, on the basis of respective signals of a signal pair, a positive weight charge corresponding to a value of positive weight multiplication with a positive weight value and a negative weight charge corresponding to a value of negative weight multiplication with a negative weight value. The accumulation unit accumulates the positive weight charge and the negative weight charge. The charging unit charges the accumulation unit after the input period. The output unit executes, after charging starts, threshold determination by means of a prescribed threshold on the voltage of the accumulation unit, and outputs a positive product-sum signal which indicates the sum of the positive weight multiplication values, and a negative product-sum signal which indicates the sum of the negative weight multiplication values. In addition, in each product-sum calculation device, charging is executed in a common charging mode, and a common threshold is set by means of the prescribed threshold.
