Abstract:
Disclosed are a camera actuator capable of achieving slimming of a camera module and a camera module including same. The camera actuator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a fixing part including an upper base and a lower base that is coupled to the upper base to form a mounting space therein; and a movable part that performs, in the mounting space, a planar motion in two-axis directions perpendicular to an optical axis and a rotational motion about the optical axis, wherein the movable part includes a substrate having one surface on which a plurality of driving coils are mounted and a carrier on which the substrate is mounted, a plurality of driving magnets are mounted on the upper base to face the plurality of driving coils one by one, and a plurality of balls supporting the two-dimensional planar motion and the rotational motion of the movable part with respect to the fixed part are provided between the carrier and the upper base.
