Provided is an industrial machine equipped with a camera (21) for picking up an image of an object the image of which needs to be picked up, wherein the camera (21) has a CPU (23), RAM (25), and flash memory (26) installed therein, and the industrial machine is configured such that various signals are transmitted/received between the camera (21) and a CPU (12) of an industrial-machine control apparatus (11). The CPU (23) of the camera (21) records, into the RAM (25), operation history data of the camera (21) itself, transmission/reception history data of various signals, and various camera setting data, and when a serious error (communication error for example) that can be evaluated by the CPU (23) of the camera (21) happens to occur, or when a request to store data is sent to the camera (21) from the industrial-machine control apparatus (11) side, various data recorded in the RAM (25) is written onto the flash memory (26), which is rewritable nonvolatile memory.
