Abstract:
A camera module according to one embodiment comprises: a lens assembly aligned along an optical axis; an image sensor assembly for changing an image into an electrical signal; an OIS carrier for rotating both the lens assembly and the image sensor assembly around an axis perpendicular to the optical axis; a housing for accommodating the lens assembly, the image sensor assembly and the OIS carrier; and a damper part including a viscoelastic material, which absorbs shock caused by rotation of the OIS carrier. The damper part can include at least one stopper disposed to limit the range of movement of the OIS carrier while the OIS carrier rotates. Other various embodiments identified through the specification are possible.
