Provided is a camera module with which unwanted light does not enter inside an imaging functional part. A camera module (10) is provided with an imaging functional part (20), a connector forming part (30), and a connection part (40), which are integrally formed as a stacked element (100). The connection part (40) is thinner than the imaging functional part (20), and comprises a bent shape. The imaging functional part (20) is provided with a cavity (211) and a through hole (212). An image sensor IC (60) is disposed inside the cavity (211). A lens unit (50) is fitted to the imaging functional part (20) so as to be optically connected to the image sensor IC (60) via the through hole (212). A light-shield member (70) is arranged so as to cover a boundary between the connection part (40) and the imaging functional part (20), more specifically the boundary comprising a stepped surface between the connection part (40) and the imaging functional part (20).
