Abstract:
A portable terminal that has a built-in digital camera and whose lens is interchangeable, a lens unit, and a camera system using the portable terminal and the lens unit. A portable telephone (1) with a built-in digital camera and an interchangeable lens housing (2) are connected through a lens mount having a fitting groove (3) and a fitting claw (4a). The interchangeable lens housing (2) is detachably mounted on the portable telephone (1), and, when mounted, the housing (2) holds a lens group that focuses an image of an object by at least one lens, the image being focused on an imaging element that the digital camera has.
