Abstract:

A camera capable of pickup of a reduced image and a magnified image. The camera comprises a case main body (11) having a built-in CCD (15) and a lens barrel (12). A contact body (20) having a built-in objective lens (40) is arranged in the interior of the lens barrel (12) and an operation body (30) is rotatably arranged on the exterior of the lens barrel (12). When the operation body (30) is rotated, the contact body (20) moves forward and backward in the optical axis K direction. A user operates the operation body (30) to move the contact body (20), i.e., the objective lens (40) forward and backward. When the operation body (30) has moved forward, a magnified image can be picked up, and when the operation body (30) has moved backward, a reduced image can be picked up. The objective lens (40) has a focus matched with a tip center of the contact body (20) during pickup of a magnified image and a magnified image is picked up in a state that the tip end of the contact body (20) is in contact with an object to be picked up.
