Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a camper van belonging to the type of camper van known as a combined camper van, wherein a blind spot caused by the projection of a shell tip part is mitigated, thereby attaining an enlargement of the visual field, and the overall shape of the camper van reduces air resistance coefficient (Cd value) loss due to air flow from the front or the lateral direction during travel. [Solution] A camper van in which a pickup truck serves as a base vehicle 1, and a shell 2 serving as a living space is loaded and installed onto a cargo bed 5, the camper van characterized in that: the interior of the shell 2 and the interior of the base vehicle 1 are connected such that it is possible to move directly from the interior of the base vehicle 1 into the interior of a base; and the outer shape of a projecting tip part 9 provided to the front side of the shell 2 is formed as a steep upwardly inclined surface that approximates a right angle and the projecting length of the projecting tip part 9 is formed so as to fall within the front-to-rear width of a windshield surface 10, whereby the projection of the projecting tip part 9 located above a driver's seat part can be mitigated, thereby enlarging the visual field, and air resistance coefficient loss can be reduced.
