Abstract:
A camshaft phaser rotor (20) and a camshaft phaser. Balance slots (203) are respectively formed inside an end surface of one side in an axial direction of the rotor (20) and an end surface of another side in the axial direction of the rotor (20). The balance slots (203) are spaced apart from a peripheral edge of the rotor (20). The rotor (20) is also provided with a through hole (204) passing through the rotor (20) in the axial direction, and the balance slots (203) on the two sides of the rotor (20) communicate with each other via the through hole (204). The camshaft phaser rotor (20) balances a gap between the rotor (20) and two end covers (30, 40), so as to keep the amount of motor oil inside oil cavities (A, B) leaking from the gap at a low level, and to reduce the probability of hard contact between the rotor (20) and the end covers (30, 40), such that the amount of motor oil inside the oil cavities (A, B) of the camshaft phaser leaking from the gap is reduced, and wear between the rotor (20) and the end covers (30, 40) is reduced. The balance slots (203) and the through hole (204) also reduce the mass of the rotor (20), and reduce costs.
