Abstract:
Disclosed is a camshaft phaser. According to the camshaft phaser, a group of chambers are provided between adjacent stator stop blocks (21), each group of chambers comprising first chambers (A1, A2, A3, A4) and second chambers (B1, B2, B3, B4) that are separated by rotor blades (11); second chamber oil ducts (TB) corresponding to the second chambers (B1, B2, B3, B4) are provided in a rotor main body (12); and at least one first chamber (A4) is an idle chamber, the rotor main body (12) is provided with a first chamber oil duct (TA) corresponding to the first chambers (A1, A2, A3) other than the idle chamber (A4), and the idle chamber can be in communication with the outside by means of a passage (TT), such that in a rotating process of a rotor (10) relative to a stator (20), air can enter the idle chamber (A4) or be discharged from the idle chamber (A4). In the camshaft phaser, even though a return spring is not provided, the rotation speed difference of the rotor in an advancing rotation direction and a lagging rotation direction can still be small.
