The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cap that can prevent leakage of a content from a side part of a lingulate part even when tilted to supply the content to an object. The cap comprises: a measurement cylinder part (41) that extends in an axial (C) direction; and a lingulate part (60) that is partially provided in a circumferential direction about an axial line at an end in the axial direction of the measurement cylinder part, and that protrudes in the axial direction. In the measurement cylinder part, a maximum amount of a content to be measured by the measurement cylinder part is stipulated. The lingulate part has a tip part (61) that is provided about a prescribed position in the circumferential direction and a connection part (62) that is provided on both sides in the circumferential direction of the tip part and connects the tip part and an end surface of the measurement cylinder part to each other. When a virtual plane (VP) that includes a tangential line passing through the end in an axial C direction in an inner surface of the tip part at a prescribed position in the circumferential direction and forms capacity that becomes a maximum amount with respect to the inner surface of the measurement cylinder part, an end surface (62A) of the connecting part is separated toward an opening part side of the measurement cylinder part in the direction of the normal to the virtual plane with respect to the virtual plane.
