BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described more in detail hereinafter in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 shows a front view of a pouch container with an cap- integrated spout assembly according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 2 shows a front view of a spout assembly depicted in Fig. 1.

Referring first to Fig. 1, the inventive pouch container 1 is formed in an envelope shape made by two films attached to each other, comprising a main body 5a for storing contents, a hygienic cover portion 5b integrally formed with the main body 5a, and a spout assembly fixed on the main body 5a.

An upper end of the main body 5a is sealed by a seal portion 2 on which a attaching portion 11 of the spout assembly 10 is attached. The hygienic cover 5b is formed above the seal portion 2, covering a cap and a lip-contacting portion of the spout assembly.

A cutting groove 3 and a cutting line 4 are formed on a board between the hygienic cover 5b and the sealed portion 2. The hygienic cover 2 is sealed at its outer periphery by a sealed portion 6 so as to prevent alien substances from coming thereinto.

In the drawing, a width of the hygienic cover 5b is shorter than that of the main body 5a. However, the present invention is not limited to this. That is, the width of the hygienic cover 5b may be identical to that of the main body 5a.

Fig. 2 shows a spout assembly according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in the drawing, the inventive spout assembly 10

comprises an attaching portion 11 attached on the sealed portion 2 of the main body 5a, a spouting guide 13 extending from the attaching portion 11 downwards, a lip-contacting portion extending from the attaching portion 11 upwards, and a cap 15 integrated with the lip-contacting portion 12. A boarder between the lip-contacting portion 12 and the cap 15 is formed to be mechanically weak to define a cutting portion 14 by which a user can remove the cap 15 from the lip-contacting portion 12 by twisting the cap 15 using a small amount of force. In addition, a handle portion 15a formed on a top of the cap 15 is designed for a user to easily twist the same. That is, the handle portion 15a has a length which is two or three times as long as the cap.

The spout guide 13 is provided to prevent the films from sticking each other, which causes the contents not to be exhausted. That is, when the films are attached to each other, an artificial straw is defined between two films by the guide 13 so that contents can be easily exhausted through the artificial straw.

As described above, the spout assembly 10 is a one-piece type formed through an injection molding process, not requiring an additional capping process. In addition, in the course of the sterilizing process at a high temperature, the seal is not damaged as the cap 15 is integrated

with the lip-contacting portion 12 as a single body.

The use of the pouch container with the cap-integrated spout assembly will be described hereinafter.

In a state shown in Fig. 1, to fill contents in the main body 5a of the container 1, the unsealed portion 7 is first opened by a series of mechanical device and the contents are filled in the main body 5a.

Then, the unsealed portion 7 is sealed as shown in Fig. 3 to define a seal portion 8.

When a user intends to drink the contents, as shown in Fig. 4, the hygienic cover 6b is removed along the cutting line 4, and the cap 15 is twisted away as shown in Fig. 5.

In this state, when the user sucks the lip-contacting portion 12 or inclines the container, the contents are exhausted out of the container.

In the course of the above processes, the spout guide 13 prevents the films from sticking, allowing the contents to be easily spouted.

After using or drinking the contents, if there is a residue in the container, the cap 15 is inserted into the lip-contacting portion 12 to reseal the container as shown in Fig. 6.

In addition, the hygienic cover 5 can be designed to illustrate a variety of information, transmit information, or provide a beauty. For

example, as shown with a broken line in Fig. 3, the shape of the hygienic cover 5 can be formed in a specific shape (apple shape) or other characters, letters, or logos.

As shown with a broken line in Fig. 6,, the handle portion 15 can be designed to illustrate a variety of information, transmit information, or provide a beauty, including characters, letters and logos.

In the above-described embodiment, the contents are filled through a lower end of the main body 5a, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the contents may be filled through a side or an upper end of the main body.

Fig. 7 shows a spout assembly according to a second embodiment of the present invention.

Since this embodiment is similar to the first embodiment, the description of the like parts will be omitted herein.

In order to make it easy for the hygienic cover 5a to be easily removed, a handle 16 is formed. The handle 16 is provided with an insertion hole 17 through which a user's finger can be inserted.

Accordingly, when the user removes the hygienic cover 5a from the main body 5b, the user inserts his/her finger into the insertion hole 17 and pulls the cover 5a, thereby making it easy to remove the same.

Fig. 8 shows a spout assembly according to a third embodiment of the present invention.

In the above-described embodiment, the spouting guide is formed in a stick type. In this embodiment, the spouting guide is provided with a straw insertion hole 15 through which a straw 18 is inserted.

The straw insertion portion 15 is provided with a communication hole 16 communicating with a through hole of the lip-contacting portion 12. The straw 18 is also provided with a through hole 19 and inserted up to a inner step 17 of the insertion portion 15.

In this embodiment, the insertion portion 15 is separated from the straw 18. However, the present invention is not limited to this. That is, a general tube can be extended downward from the attaching portion 11.

As shown in Fig. 9, the spout assembly 10 of the present invention is formed having an oval-shape section so that the lip of the user can stably contact the same.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY As described above, since the spout assembly is covered by the

hygienic cover, it is very hygienically safe. Since the cap and the lip- contacting portion are integrally formed, the reliable seal can be provided.

Accordingly, the pouch container with the spout assembly can be used to contain beverages, industrial oils, and detergents.
