Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a capability acquisition method, which is applicable to a base station. The method comprises: acquiring capability information of a terminal; and according to the capability information, determining a first number of receiving beams that can be supported by the terminal at most and are simultaneously used for reception. According to the present disclosure, by means of acquiring capability information from a terminal, the first number of receiving beams that can be supported by the terminal at most and are simultaneously used for reception can be determined according to the capability information, such that during subsequent communication with the terminal, an appropriate configuration can be selected according to the first number, which is beneficial to ensuring communication quality between a base station and the terminal.
