Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to improve the electrical characteristics of a capacitance device equipped with a plurality of capacitances connected in series in a stacking direction of internal electrodes. In the capacitance device, a dielectric layer (3) and four internal electrodes (30 to 33) form three capacitors, the four internal electrodes (30 to 33) being stacked through the dielectric layer (3) and having electrode main bodies that form capacitances and have the gravity centers arranged on an axis consisting of a straight line extending in a stacking direction. The capacitors are connected in series in the stacking direction of the internal electrodes, and the capacitance device includes two variable capacitance units (40, 41) having external terminals formed on a side surface of a variable capacitance device main body (2). The axes of the respective variable capacitance units (40, 41) are arranged in parallel with each other. The directions of the currents flowing through adjacent variable capacitance units are opposite to each other.
