Abstract:
The purpose of the technology according to the present disclosure is to, even when a gap has been generated between terminal leads, for example, suppress retention of electrolytic solution in this gap and suppress reduction in insulative resistance. A capacitor (2) includes a capacitor body (4), a pedestal (6), and a resin layer (8-1). The capacitor body includes an exterior case (10), a seal member (14) that is mounted to an opening of the exterior case, and terminal leads (16-1, 16-2) that penetrate the seal member. The pedestal has: insertion holes (18-1, 18-2) that are provided to the seal-member side of the capacitor body, cause the terminal leads to be inserted thereto, and causes the terminal leads to be exposed to the mounting-surface side; and a projection (20) that encircles the insertion holes. The resin layer is disposed at least between the pedestal and the seal member. The pedestal and the resin layer are at least partially spaced apart from each other or are in contact with each other without adhesion of the pedestal and the resin layer to each other. Alternatively, the adhesive force of the resin layer with respect to the pedestal is less than the force generated between the resin layer and the pedestal due to thermal deformation when a mounting process is performed.
