Abstract:
A capacity estimation device (50) for estimating the capacity of a power storage unit (41) when charging the power storage unit comprises: a control unit (54) that reduces an average current indicative of the average value, per unit time period, of a charging current flowing in the power storage unit in a predetermined current restriction section after the start of charging of the power storage unit; and an estimation unit (55) that estimates the capacity on the basis of the voltage change rate of the power storage unit after the current restriction section or within the current restriction section.
