Description:
A Car-Locking Device Technical Realm of the Device The invention concerns the locking of cars and especially the vehicle doors and steering mechanism. It can also be used for entrance doors, safes, security locking systems, etc.

Similar Previous Devices There is a car-locking device protected with patent US 5 295 377. It comprises a basic housing, in the one end of which there is a frontal flange. On the outer surface of the basic housing, near the frontal flange there is a binding thread. In the basic housing, near the frontal flange, there is a locking bush with concentric grooves cut into its inner surface. In the locking bush, there is a lock cylinder with cyphering plates inside. Behind the locking bush there is a spacer bush. Behind it, in the basic housing, there is a locking element, which can rotate in the basic housing. In the spacer bush, there is a contracted coil spring. On the rear part of the lock cylinder coaxially there is a driving click, caught to the driving element, which can rotate axially and be shift and removed from it with the help of the spring in case of breaking the device.

A disadvantage of the car-locking device described above is that in locked position the lock cylinder is static. This makes it possible to break the device by putting a flat object in the lock or by using a drill. Another disadvantage is that when the device is damaged and the lock cylinder is. taken out, it can easily be unlocked with an additional turning of the. driving click..

Technical Essence of the Invention The purpose of the invention is to make a car-locking device which makes it impossible to break or bore a hole in the lock cylinder and guarantees a quality and security locking of the vehicle.

This task is performed by the car-locking device, which comprises a basic housing, with a frontal flange in the one end and a binding thread on the outer surface of the basic housing near the frontal flange. Inside the basic housing there are concentrically situated a locking bush and a lock cylinder with a central cylinder plug.

According to the invention around the locking bush, inside the basic housing, there is a movable working housing which can rotate inside the basic housing with the help of catching pellets situated in radial grooves. The grooves are cut in the two ends on the inner surface of the basic housing and on the inner surface of the movable working housing. The lock cylinder can also rotate inside the movable working housing with the help of restricting pellets situated in restricting grooves. They are cut in the two ends of the inner surface of the movable working housing and the outer surface of the lock cylinder. On its two sides, inside the locking bush, there are a left supplementary segment and a right supplementary segment, on whose outer surfaces there are longitudinal slots. In the lock cylinder, there are an upper opening and a lower opening in which there are respectively an upper fixing pin and a lower fixing pin.

On the inner ends of the upper and lower fixing pins there are an upper binding hinge and a lower binding hinge on which there are fixed an upper locking rocker and a lower locking rocker.

On the loose ends of the upper and lower locking rockers there are heart- shaped openings with an upper and a lower restricting axis passing though them.

The upper locking rocker and the lower locking rocker are fixed respectively with an upper compressing pellet and a lower compressing pellet under which there are respectively an upper pushing spring and a lower pushing spring. The loose ends of the upper and the lower locking rockers are in contact respectively with an upper inner catch and a lower inner catch made on the inner surface of the locking bush and can fit into an upper segment groove and a lower segment groove cut longitudinally on the outer surface of the lock cylinder.

On the lock cylinder and the left and right supplementary segments there are grooves in which there are cyphering armatures. They are in contact with armature catches on the inner surface of the locking bush. The inner ends of the cyphering armatures are in contact with pushing pins of the lock cyphers, fixed with cypher springs. On the stems of the cyphering armatures there are closing springs.

On the outer surfaces of the left and the right supplementing segments there are radial grooves with counter springs inside. In V-shaped openings inside the lock cylinder, there are retaining springs which are in contact with end restrictors fixed with restricting springs.

On the inner surface of the basic housing there are dead radial grooves. Inside them there are safety pins. In the dead radial grooves, between the basic housing and the fronts of the safety pins, there are pushing springs.

The advantage of the invention is that it is practically impossible to bore a hole into the lock cylinder with a drill because in a locked position it rotates freely and will rotate together with the drill. It is also impossible to break it with another flat or profiled object put into the central lock.

Another advantage is that even if the lock cylinder is broken or deformed it is impossible to take it out of the movable working housing due to its specific construction.

On the outer surface of the basic housing 1 near the frontal flange 2 there is a binding thread 3. Inside the basic housing 1, there are concentrically situated a locking bush 4 and a lock cylinder 5 with a central cylinder plug 11 inside for the key 12. Around the locking bush 4, inside the basic housing 1, there is a movable working housing 6 which can rotate inside the basic housing 1 with the help of catching pellets 7 situated in the radial grooves 8. They are cut in the two ends on the inner surface of the basic housing 1 and on the outer surface of the movable working housing 6. The lock cylinder 5 can also rotate inside the movable working housing 6 with the help of restricting pellets 9. They are situated in restricting grooves 10 cut in the two ends of the inner surface of the movable working housing 6 and the outer surface of the lock cylinder 5. On its two sides inside the locking bush 4 there are a left supplementary segment 13 and a right supplementary segment 14 on whose outer surfaces there are longitudinal slots 15. Inside the lock cylinder 5, there are an upper opening 16 and a lower opening 17 and inside them there are respectively an upper fixing pin 18 and a lower fixing pin 19.

On the inner ends of the upper and lower fixing pins 18 and 19 there are an upper binding hinge 20 and a lower binding hinge 21, on them there are fixed an upper locking rocker 22 and a lower locking rocker 23.

On the loose ends of the upper and lower locking rockers 22 and 23 there are heart-shaped openings 24 and an upper and lower limiting axes 25 and 26 passing through them.

The upper locking rocker 22 and the lower locking rocker 23 are fixed respectively with an upper compressing pellet 27 and a lower compressing pellet 28 under which there are respectively an upper pushing spring 29 and a lower pushing spring 30. The loose ends of the upper and the lower locking rockers 22 and 23 are in contact respectively with an upper inner catch 31 and a lower inner catch 32 made on the inner surface of the locking bush 4. They can fit into the upper segment channel 33 and the lower segment channel 34 cut longitudinally on the outer surface of the lock cylinder 5.

On the lock cylinder 5 and the left and right supplementary segments 13 and 14 there are grooves in which there are cyphering armatures 35. They are in contact with armature catches 36 on the inner surface of the locking bush 4. The outer ends of the cyphering armatures 35 are in contact with the pushing pins 37 of the lock cyphers 38, fixed with cypher springs 39. On the stems of the cyphering armatures 35 there are closing springs 40.

On the outer surfaces of the left and right supplementary segments 13 and 14 there are radial grooves 41 with counter springs 42 in them. In V-shaped openings 43 cut in the lock cylinder 5 there are retaining springs 44 which are in contact with end restrictors 45 fixed with restricting springs 46.

On the inner surface of the basic housing 1 there are dead radial grooves 47 in which there are safety pins. In the dead radial grooves 47, between the basic housing 1 and the fronts of the safety pins 48, there are pushing springs 49.

Appendix The car-locking device functions as follows. When the key 12 is not in the central cylinder plug 11, or if a key which does not correspond to the device is placed in it, the upper and lower fixing pins, respectively 18 and 19 are contracted inside and the lock cylinder 5 can rotate freely together with the locking bush 4. In this position, every attempt to break the device or bore a hole in it is futile, as the lock cylinder 5 will rotate together with the drill. The access to the central cylinder plug is restricted by a closing aperture (not shown) and by a frontal profiled plate made of titanium alloy (also not shown). When the key 12 is placed in the central cylinder plug 11 its threads push the lock cyphers 38 out and the cypering armatures 35 go inside. In this way they release armature catches 36. In this position and when rotating, the lock cylinder 5 still rotates with the locking bush 4, as the upper and lower inner catches 31 and 32 are in the upper and lower segment channels 33 and 34. When the rotation continues the inner catches 31 and 32 push inside the upper and lower locking rockers 22 and 23, which on their part take the upper and lower fixing pins 18 and 19 out.

They catch each other in the movable working housing 6 and they drive a lever locking and unlocking system (not shown). With the counter springs 42 placed in the V-shaped openings 43, after removing the key 12, the locking bush 4 reverts to a neutral position. At this moment the safety pins 48 are pushed out by the movable working housing 6, formerly blocked to the basic housing by the safety pins 47.
