Title:
CARBON-CONTAINING MATERIAL GAINED FROM SPENT COFFEE GROUNDS, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/180079
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a carbon-containing material gained from spent coffee grounds, a production method therefor and a use thereof. The present invention provides a carbon-containing material gained from spent coffee grounds, the carbon-containing material being selected from high-purity graphene, carbon nanotube and respective derivatives thereof. In addition, the present invention provides a carbon-containing material production method comprising: step 1 for preparing spent coffee grounds; step 2 for generating a carbon body from the spent coffee grounds prepared in step 1; and step 3 for reacting the carbon body generated in step 2 with a decomposing agent. The decomposing agent exhibits selective decomposition reactivity depending on the type of the carbon body, and includes at least one selected from an enzyme and a microorganism. According to the present invention, an industrially useful component is separated from spent coffee grounds and synthesized, and thus the recyclability of spent coffee grounds is increased, and the spent coffee grounds are transformed into a high value-added material, thereby enabling the generation of new profits. Further, spent coffee grounds may be widely recycled into a useful resource for various purposes and fields.
