Abstract:
Provided are a carbon dioxide emission rights trading support device, and a method for the same, for supporting a further revitalization of carbon dioxide emission rights trading and an expansion of the trading market. A carbon dioxide emission rights trading support device 100 comprises: an evaluation request accepting means 110 for accepting an evaluation request relating to a target region capable of absorbing carbon dioxide, from an owner of the target region or a representative of the owner; an image acquiring means 120 for acquiring an image including the target region; an absorption amount calculating means 130 for calculating an amount of carbon dioxide absorbed in the target region on the basis of the image acquired by the image acquiring means 120; and an evaluation notifying means 160 for notifying the owner or the representative of the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed, calculated by the absorption amount calculating means 130.
