Abstract:
A treatment column (91) in a carbon dioxide separation system has: a treatment container (10) in the form of a column, the interior space of the treatment container (10) being virtually divided into, from the top, a regeneration chamber (3), a drying chamber (4), and an adsorption chamber (2) by two (upper and lower) barriers (60) for preventing an adsorbent from moving downward while flowing in a laminar manner; a first flow path member in which is formed a spray opening for spraying, into the bottom section of each of the chambers, a gas corresponding to the treatment in the treatment chamber; and a second flow path member in which is formed a discharge opening via which the gas that has contacted the adsorbent is discharged from the top section of each of the chambers. Exhaust openings are formed below the barriers (60) in the lower two chambers.
