Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a carbon material and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof, a negative electrode sheet, a secondary battery and an electric device. The carbon material comprises a porous carbon substrate and an amorphous carbon layer disposed on at least part of the surface of the porous carbon substrate. When the carbon material is used as a negative electrode active material, rich porous structures in the porous carbon substrate can be fully used for plating or intercalation of lithium/sodium, and side reactions caused by contact between rich active sites on the surface of the porous carbon substrate and an electrolytic solution can be avoided, such that the initial coulombic efficiency and the actual capacity of a secondary battery can be improved.
