Abstract:

The present invention relates to a carbonated beverage production apparatus capable of producing a carbonated beverage having a large quantity of carbon dioxide dissolved therein by circulating a beverage and carbon dioxide while mixing same in a container, to which the beverage and carbon dioxide are supplied. The carbonated beverage production apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a beverage production container provided with an inlet connected to a carbon dioxide (CO2) source and a beverage source and an outlet for discharging a carbonated beverage to the outside; a circulating pump, which is installed in the beverage production container, draws the beverage inside the beverage production container, and then discharges same again, thereby circulating the beverage; a mixing unit, which has the rear end thereof connected to the outlet part of the circulating pump and is provided therein with a venturi nozzle, the diameter of which gradually decreases and increases again from the rear towards the front, and discharges the beverage, which is discharged from the circulating pump, into the beverage production container via the venturi nozzle; and a gas injection tube having the upper end thereof disposed at the top of the beverage production container and the lower end thereof connected to the rear part of the venturi nozzle of the mixing unit, thereby supplying the carbon dioxide in the beverage production container to the rear of the venturi nozzle.
