Abstract:
A card issuing machine and a card issuing method, said card issuing machine comprising: a holder comprising lateral support plates (1) on two sides and a bottom support plate, a card insertion opening and a card ejection opening for cards, which provided at the two ends of the lateral support plates (1) on two sides; a card roller assembly comprising a first card roller assembly located at the card insertion opening and a second card roller assembly located at the card ejection opening; a card pushing assembly that is fixedly mounted on the holder and disposed in a channel between the lateral support plates (1) on two sides and located between the two card roller assemblies, the card pushing assembly being driven by an actuating mechanism to move reciprocally within the channel; a checking assembly that is fixedly mounted on the lateral support plates on two sides of the holder; and an image-capturing assembly (5) that is fixedly mounted above the middle part of the channel. By means of the combination of the card pushing assembly, the image-capturing assembly (5) and the checking assembly, the present card issuing machine is capable of precisely positioning a card to be checked below the image-capturing assembly (5), and moves the card by means of the card pushing assembly, solving the problem of a card being covered by the card roller (2) when the card surface information is being checked and verified in the card issuing machine.
