Abstract:
Provided are a card that has high abrasion resistance and can have a display such as letters machined thereon at low cost, and a method for manufacturing a card. A card (1) is provided with a transparent layer (20) laminated on the bottom side of a printed layer (10), and an intermediate layer (30) laminated on the bottom side of the transparent layer (20), a laser-machined area (15) of the transparent layer (20) being laser-machined so that the transparent layer (20) remains, whereby the coloring of the top surface of the intermediate layer (30) is visible from the laser-machined area (15) with the transparent layer (20) interposed therebetween.
