Abstract:

A cardiac diastolic function assessment method (100), for use in the field of cardiac monitoring. The method (100) comprises: noninvasively acquiring vibration information of the thoracic body surface of a subject (101); preprocessing the vibration information to generate hemodynamics-related information (102); determining a first parameter and a second parameter on the basis of the hemodynamics-related information (103); generating an indicating parameter on the basis of the first parameter and of the second parameter, and assessing the cardiac diastolic function of the subject on the basis of the indicating parameter (104).
