Abstract:
The invention relates to hoisting- and conveying-related mechanical engineering. The cargo and passenger lift is attached, by at least a rack-and-pinion drive system, to a surface of a building, arranged at least in the internal part of the building, and comprises an undercarriage which enters into engagement with at least one rail or mast for moving the cargo and passenger lift over the at least one rail or mast, which is attached to the building structure. Furthermore, the car of the cargo and passenger lift is equipped with at least one device for connecting, in hermetically sealed fashion, doors of said lift to openings and/or to doors of the building and/or to doors of adjacently arranged hoisting devices with the aim of making it possible for people to pass or cargo to be transferred from the cargo and passenger lift into the building and/or hoisting devices, and vice versa. The cargo and passenger lift is provided at least inside the lift shaft of the building, which communicates, through the doors thereof, with at least a plurality of storeys and/or levels of the building, and at least main elements of the protective structure of the lift shaft of the building, including the walls and doors thereof, are formed from incombustible, fireproof and thermally insulating materials. Furthermore, the doors of the lift shaft of the building, which interact with the devices for connecting, in hermetically sealed fashion, the doors of the car of the cargo and passenger lift, are hermetically sealed. The present invention is directed to solving the technical problem of ensuring industrial safety during a procedure for evacuating people from a building in emergency situations (for example in the event of a fire).
