Abstract:
This carrier system is provided with: a plurality of carrier vehicles that travel along a track and carry loads; and a controller that controls traveling of the plurality of carrier vehicles, wherein the track has a first main track, a plurality of junction points arranged separately from each other on the first main track, and a plurality of branch tracks coupled to the first main track via junction points different from each other, the junction points are separated from each other on the first main track, each of the branch tracks has a stop position corresponding to a delivery port for delivering the loads carried by the carrier vehicles, and, regarding the carrier vehicles stopped at the stop positions corresponding to the delivery ports of the plurality of branch tracks, the controller causes a carrier vehicle on a downstream branch track to start simultaneously or before a carrier vehicle on an upstream branch track.
